For
empressalkaid
Oct. 8th, 2013 01:37 pmHow did I get myself into this mess?
That's right, a stupid bet. Alph could barely remember what it was about now, only that Alkaid had goaded him until he felt self-assured enough to put a rather large stake on it. The kind of wager one didn't make if they stopped to think about it.
And he'd lost. Naturally.
So here he was, out and about with Alkaid, praying he didn't run into anyone that might recognize him. Why? Because Alkaid was addressing him as "Alicia" right now. And the reason for that had to do with how he was dressed. Specifically, in an actual dress, one with a fairly long skirt. And kneesocks. And a bra padded out with cotton wool. And even the other gender's undergarments.
Or to put it more simply, he'd lost a bet about going out while crossdressing. Even going as far as the long-haired silver wig and the makeup, so that he looked "authentic". And while he did look like a pretty convincing, if broad-shouldered girl (he had to, or he wouldn't have set foot outside) he couldn't help being terrified that someone they knew might see though it.
"Have you had your fun yet?" He was even keeping his voice as high a falsetto as he could keep steady. He sounded like he had a cold, but at least female. "You're killing me here."
