Normally, he'd be making his way into the house by now, calling out to see if his girlfriend was home and generally putting his things away where they should go. But after the day he'd had, walking any further seemed like too much of an effort for the moment, so he was going to stay where he was, hand over his eyes as he tried to ignore the headache.
